Booking Policy, Cancellation Rules, and Disclosures By booking with Knock’em Down Boy Fishing & Excursions (KDBF&E), participants acknowledge and agree to the following policies and disclosures. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to a scheduled excursion are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the excursion are generally non-refundable. Emergency cancellations may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; however, approval of a full or partial refund is not guaranteed. Supporting documentation may be requested to verify the nature of the emergency. Weather Policy KDBF&E cannot control weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, wind, lightning, flooding, extreme temperatures, wildfire smoke, or other environmental conditions that may affect outdoor activities. Participant safety is our highest priority. KDBF&E reserves the right to modify, shorten, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or cancel any excursion when conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable. If weather significantly impacts an activity, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the excursion or provide alternative indoor instruction, educational programming, or other suitable activities when available. Alternative activities and rescheduled dates are not guaranteed and depend on availability, weather conditions, staffing, and logistics. No refunds will be issued for reduced fishing success, limited wildlife sightings, or changes in outdoor conditions caused by factors beyond KDBF&E’s control, including weather, water levels, seasonal conditions, wildlife activity, or animal behavior. Conduct Policy All anglers, campers, hikers, and excursion participants are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, staff, fellow participants, public land users, and wildlife. Violent, threatening, abusive, harassing, reckless, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the excursion without refund. Colorado is a cannabis-friendly state, and KDBF&E permits lawful cannabis use. Participants are expected to consume responsibly and respectfully, using only personal campsites or designated smoking areas when available. The use, possession, distribution, or influence of illegal drugs, including but not limited to cocaine, crack, PCP, methamphetamine, heroin, or similar substances, is strictly prohibited.
